Jean-Pierre Besenval is one of the last remaining French artists who maintains the tradition of fine painted furniture. He draws his inspiration from fresco painting of the Italian Renaissance as well as Flemish painting of the 16th century. Monsieur Besenval selects 18th and 19th century antiques from the Alsace region of France because of their design, warmth and beauty.
